Watch the airshow from Assateague Island!  This is a great spot to see the planes and it's not where most people will be because you need a boat to get there.  This trip takes you to the Assateague Island beach where you can bring a cooler, some beach chairs and relax while watching the airshow.  You can even take a dip in the ocean if it gets too hot!  Park at our Kiosk at 118th street and don't worry about the traffic and parking.  This trip leaves 118th street at 10:00 am and comes back to 118th street from Assateague at 4pm .  Forget the crowds and enjoy the airshow in style.

This trip requires a sand landing and departure from Assateague Island.  This means you must be ok with departing the OC Bay Hopper directly onto the beach of Assateague - an added adventure.  Also, note that the Assateague Island only has "natural" restroom facilities.  Don't forget a cooler with food and drink and your sunscreen.
