Join us on a one-hour cruise departing from our Downtown location, where you can indulge in some serious bird watching, with a very good chance of getting a close up view of some wild ponies and maybe even some playful dolphins! Got little ones (or just kids who need a bit of distraction)? We've got you covered with binoculars, bingo cards, and bubbles - that's right, the triple Bs!

And the cherry on top? We serve only award-winning Taharka Bros ice cream on this cruise! If you haven't tried Taharka yet, get ready for a treat that "tastes like heaven." This Baltimore-made ice cream is amazing - with unique flavors like Honey Graham, Mintflix and Chillz, Coffee Oreo, and more. Want to earn some major brownie points with your kids? Look no further!

Expectations

Departure Location - This trip departs from our new downtown location (307 Dorchester Street, Ocean City, 21842)

NOTE ON BOARDING THE BOAT FROM DOWNTOWN LOCATION: You will board the boat from a fixed dock. Depending on the tides, this can be a large step down into the boat. We are happy to assist but customers who are limited in mobility may find better options at a trip leaving from 118th Street.

Bathrooms – Our Bay Hoppers do not have bathrooms onboard. There is a bathroom for customer use at the back of the Sea Rocket building.

What To Bring – Depending on the weather, you should dress appropriately. Things to consider bringing include sunscreen, some snacks, drinks, a sweatshirt, and camera.

Weather – Unless the weather poses a threat to the safety of our passengers (e.g., lightening, high winds) or the weather will make the trip extremely uncomfortable (e.g., heavy rain) the trip will proceed as scheduled. If the Captain decides to cancel the trip due to the weather, then you will be notified, and your money refunded.

About the Weather

Aligned with the goal of ensuring all OC Bay Hopper customers have a great experience, we will only run trips that are deemed safe by our Captains. Generally, the weather on the coastal bays of the Ocean City area is very pleasant but sometimes storms and thunderstorms do occur.

In the event that your trip is cancelled, you will receive a full refund. Sometimes, the weather conditions, particularly high winds causing choppy seas, will allow us to run a safe trip that is a bit unpleasant.

Our captains will always strive to let people know when conditions will be less than ideal and if conditions warrant a possible refund you may choose to not take the trip. (But sometimes those rough passages make for the best experiences!)
