What's better than lunch at Macky's? Lunch at Macky's on a boat. We've partnered with the Mid-Town favorite to bring you a cruise that combines great food, stunning scenery, and a trip to Assateague Island — all in one unforgettable afternoon.

This nearly two-hour cruise is limited to 6 or fewer guests, so it's intimate, relaxed, and all about you and your crew. Before the trip, you'll be prompted to select your food order from Macky's menu — and their team will have everything ready to go the moment you board. From there, we'll cruise the bay toward Assateague Island while you dig into some seriously good food with the coastal bays as your backdrop.

Bring your own drinks (alcohol or otherwise) to round out the experience — whether that's a cold beer, a bottle of wine, or a sweet tea, it's your call. Wild ponies, dolphins, great food, and good company — this one checks every box.

Departure Location, Parking & Boarding — This trip leaves exclusively from our Mid-Town 53rd Street location (next to Macky's on 53rd Street). There is a parking lot, and because our trips here are typically 6 people or fewer, usually a parking space is available right in the restaurant parking lot. Look for OC Bay Hopper flags! You will board from a fixed dock. Depending on tides, this can be a large step up or down into the boat. We're happy to assist, but customers with limited mobility may prefer our floating dock locations.

Departure Time — Please plan to arrive about 5–10 minutes before your trip. If you do not see the boat, please don't worry — we are probably off making memories with another group! Uptown and Downtown locations are staffed by OC Bay Hopper. We typically do not have staff at Ocean Pines Yacht Club or Mid-Town 53rd Street. Our captains are trained to leave ON TIME. If you are running late, you can attempt to contact us but if there are other parties on your trip it is unlikely that we will hold up a trip for you!!!

Bathrooms — There are bathrooms available for customer use at Macky's before the trip- additionally, there is a small bathroom aboard our OC Bay Hopper, "Eagle."

What to Bring — Sunscreen and a camera, snacks and/or drinks for longer trips, and always take into account weather conditions on the water. (Dress in layers if you are not sure!)

Weather — Unless the weather poses a threat to passenger safety (e.g., lightning, high winds) or would make the trip extremely uncomfortable (e.g., heavy rain), the trip will proceed as scheduled. If the captain cancels due to weather, you will be notified and your money refunded. If the conditions are unpleasant but remain safe, we will run the trip. Sometimes if this situation arises we will offer to cancel/reschedule/refund but as long as the trip is safe then our Captains generally want to make this happen!

Trip Minimum — Please be aware that we cannot run this trip if fewer than 4 people book. We will notify you at least one hour (usually earlier the morning of) before departure if the minimum has not been reached and offer a full refund or try to rebook you onto another cruise if you prefer.

Additional Details — This trip is limited to 6 or fewer guests and operates exclusively from our Mid-Town 53rd Street location (next to Macky's). This cruise runs on the Eagle, which has a bathroom onboard. Food must be ordered through our app during booking or at least 12 hours beforehand. Trip cost and food costs are separate. This trip is BYOB — bring your own drinks to enjoy with your meal. Duration: approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes.

Aligned with the goal of ensuring all OC Bay Hopper customers have a great experience, we will only run trips that are deemed safe by our Captains. Generally, the weather on the coastal bays of the Ocean City area is very pleasant but sometimes storms and thunderstorms do occur.

In the event that your trip is cancelled, you will receive a full refund. Sometimes, the weather conditions, particularly high winds causing choppy seas, will allow us to run a safe trip that is a bit unpleasant.

Our captains will always strive to let people know when conditions will be less than ideal and if conditions warrant a possible refund you may choose to not take the trip. (But sometimes those rough passages make for the best experiences!)
