Rippons Seafood Safari

Ocean City is well-known for incredible seafood and Rippons Seafood, located in Ocean City Square Retail center is one of the area's best kept secrets!

And now we are combining the incredible taste of authentic local seafood with a 90 minute cruise out on the bay aboard the OC Bay Hopper, what a fantastuic experience for a family or group of friends. Feel free to bring any beverages- adult or otherwise- on the voyage.

You will order from a menu specifically curated for this experience (re: things easy to eat on a boat!) or you can bring your own food if you like... Regardless, we will set the table for you onboard and provide you with a wait- free experience out on the water!

Expectations

This trip is run on Mondays and Fridays throughout the summer. We are offering a subset of the full Rippons menu, basically the things that we believe are a little easier to eat on a boat.

The trip departs promptly at 6pm, and last about 80 -90 minutes. While there is no restroom on board the OC Bay Hopper, we do have a facility for customers to use at our 118th Street Headquarters. (and there is plenty of parking available)

You can arrive about 5 minutes early if you like, but our boarding process is very straightforward and so as long as you are there by the trip time, all is good.

Finally, we do have water aboard and a cooler to keep that water cold.

About the Weather

Aligned with the goal of ensuring all OC Bay Hopper customers have a great experience, we will only run trips that are deemed safe by our Captains. Generally, the weather on the coastal bays of the Ocean City area is very pleasant but sometimes storms and thunderstorms do occur.

In the event that your trip is cancelled, you will receive a full refund. Sometimes, the weather conditions, particularly high winds causing choppy seas, will allow us to run a safe trip that is a bit unpleasant.

Our captains will always strive to let people know when conditions will be less than ideal and if conditions warrant a possible refund you may choose to not take the trip. (But sometimes those rough passages make for the best experiences!)
